Welcome To MRN Kennington
View the virtual tour
Our Kennington nursery is set within a beautiful Grade II listed Victorian house, just a short walk from Kennington and Elephant & Castle stations. Rated Ofsted Outstanding, we provide a warm, home-from-home environment where children can learn, explore, and grow.
Our rich curriculum includes nature school, outings, STEAM activities, clay and woodworking, and indoor and outdoor cooking. Each month, children discover a new artist in our atelier, while babies enjoy heuristic play and treasure baskets to spark curiosity and creativity.

Meet The Team

Alexandra Xynidou
Nursery Manager
Alexandra joined MRN in 2017. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Development and is deeply passionate about fostering curiosity and independence in every child. Alexandra believes strongly in the concept of the environment as the third teacher and is dedicated to nurturing critical thinkers who will help shape a better society for the future. For her, happy children mean happy adults — a philosophy that guides her daily practice and interactions with children and families.

Laura Williams
Deputy Manager
Laura joined MRN in 2008 and holds a Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education. With many years of experience, she is passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where every child feels confident to play, learn, and grow. Laura believes that when children feel secure and valued, they develop the confidence and skills they need to thrive — both now and in the future.

We wholeheartedly understand and support the importance of your role in your child’s academic and emotional development.
