Unleashing Curiosity: Watch tissues come Alive in our fun STEAM activity!

At MRN we are passionate about fostering hands-on learning experiences. This month, our dedicated educators have led captivating STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) experiments that have truly ignited curiosity and nurtured the inquisitive minds of our little ones!

In this article, we are excited to delve into the marvellous world of tissue expansion through a fun and interactive experiment that combines science and arts. Join us as we explore how tissues come alive in this engaging activity designed to capture the interest and imagination of our young toddlers.

Instructions: Let's get started!

Step 1. Use a marker pen to colour the tissues or create unique designs. Let your imagination soar! Encourage your child to make unique designs or patterns, adding their personal touch to the experiment.🎨🖍️

Step 2. Scrunch up the tissues and add cute caterpillar faces. 🐛

Step 3️. Now comes the captivating moment! Use a pipette to carefully add a few drops of water. 💧

Step 4️. Witness the incredible transformation as the tissues expand! 🌸

MRN Learning and Development:

This fun and interactive experiment not only captivates young minds but also provides valuable learning and development opportunities. Through this hands-on activity, children explore cause-and-effect relationships, developing their critical thinking skills as they observe how water causes the tissues to expand. Additionally, the creative aspect of coloring the tissues enhances their imagination and artistic abilities, making the experiment even more engaging. By introducing scientific concepts like osmosis at an early age, we foster a love for learning and pave the way for future scientific exploration.

At MRN, we are dedicated to providing a rich and stimulating learning environment that nurtures the curiosity and growth of our young learners. This tissue expansion experiment is just one example of the many exciting activities we offer as part of our comprehensive STEAM education curriculum. We encourage parents and guardians to recreate this experiment at home, embracing the joy of discovery alongside their children.
